There was no need to believe that this deceitful world had any beauty left…

Any sympathy for me

Around me I saw nothing but coldness, nothing but pain

I felt no need to have hope for tomorrow…

For tomorrow would just be another day.

There are only so many times that you can fall…

Fall and never get back up

I had fallen

Fallen into the trap that life had set for me

As I walked along that lonely path

With the pain from the past and fear for the future, I saw It

A glimmering light in the distance

A solemn voice was calling to me

It was so gentle…

It was so soothing…

It was Him

He gave me his hand and pulled me out of the darkness

He held me so safely that I forgot all the pain

He brought beauty back into my world

He showed me that he would be there to pick me up if I fall

He brought me out of my nightmare

It was Love… and all I can say is Thank You.
